We proudly present the HH-65 US Coast Guard military helicopter display model. The model is made of all hardwoods, the weight and detail are amazing. The helicopter body and matching stand are mahogany with other hard woods used for the windows, rotor blades, tail rotor and small detail pieces.
Selected in the early 1980, and still active, the HH-65 Dolphin is the US Coast Guard’s short range recovery, search and rescue helicopter. With home ports in 17 cities the HH-65 Dolphin usually deploys from shore and can be found in operating on the Atlantic Ocean, Pacific Ocean, Gulf of Mexico and Great Lakes region.
